Microsoft Visual SourceSafe is widely considered to be severely broken [1] [2], but unfortunately I have to use it at work.
One of the most annoying problems is that VSS 2005 often crashes when doing Show Differences and the official explanation makes me think that there's something seriously broken within this piece of software.
